Client Services Manager
With almost a decade of professional experience working in the nonprofit sector, Amanda has served individuals with HIV/AIDS, cognitive impairments, debilitating physical injuries, and developmental disabilities. She was originally drawn to fiscal sponsorship because she liked the prospect of learning about the variety of issues being addressed by Community Initiatives' fiscally sponsored projects, and the opportunity to serve as a thought partner with them.
While her career has focused predominantly on advocating for equitable housing for disabled and low-income community members, Amanda is excited to apply her skills to serve as a Client Services Manager for the fiscally sponsored projects supported by Community Initiatives. In addition to her work with us, Amanda serves as a volunteer board member and governance committee co-chair with the Women's Museum of California.
Originally from San Diego, Amanda moved to San Francisco in 2011 and calls Ocean Beach home. She holds a BA in Linguistics from UC Santa Cruz and a MA in Nonprofit Administration from University San Francisco. She enjoys cooking, exploring the outdoors with her husband, reading, and connecting with her local community.
