Get to Know Community Initiatives’ Senior Leadership

David McGee, VP of HR and Operations

David brings over thirty years of HR experience with him to Community Initiatives.

While growing up in northern Indiana, David loved to race motorcycles on courses in the woods. He has ridden motorcycles for over forty years.

For a short amount of time after college, before moving into HR, David owned his own record store and ran a Red Lobster for General Mills in Indianapolis.

His favorite vacation ever was a seven-day eastern Caribbean cruise with his wife, Nancy. They explored and enjoyed scuba diving on six different islands, including St. Thomas, Grenada, Aruba, and Guadeloupe. They also went up into the mountains from Caracas, Venezuela.

David is a proud grandfather to Reyna Grace (age four months) and Harlan (age 14 years). Harlan is obsessed with Legos, but David is working hard to also introduce him to golf. Reyna Grace enjoys smiling and being introduced to solid foods (her current favorite is pear!) as her first teeth start to come in.
