Press Forward and McKinsey & Company work together for research on women in media

Press Forward, worked with McKinsey & Company on “Shattering the Glass Screen,” an analysis of women working in media organizations. They found that women remain “locked out of top roles.”

Renaissance Journalism awards San Francisco Public Press $10K for their coverage of the 2020 Census

The 2020 Census is the first to go online. The tech barrier this creates is being watched closely by many of our project partners.  Even in affluent and tech-savvy San Francisco, 10,000 people live in homes that lack internet access and 8,000 live on the streets or in temporary shelters. Renaissance Journalism awarded $10,000 to the public newspaper, San Francisco Public Press, for their coverage!
