Join Academic Data Science Alliance at ImageXD 2023, a workshop for image analysis researchers and developers co-hosted with the University of California, Berkeley Institute for Data Science. There be talks, discussions, and time to work in groups to collaborate – either coding or planning for research and funding.
ImageXD will be held March 16-17 in Irvine, CA. Deadline to apply is 12/16/2022.

Attendance Works
In order to help support students and their families, Attendance Works has developed messaging and letters for school leaders hoping to encourage good attendance around the winter holidays. They recommend sending out communications in the weeks before the longer winter break urging students and families to avoid absences.

Gameheads
Last month, Gameheads dropped their first ever commercial, developed in partnership with Xbox Publishing and Comcast. Their aim is to increase engagement of girls, femmes and gender-expansive youth of color in the program by 10 percent over the next two years. The commercial features visual effects provided by Gameheads students.

Arctos is a community, an online collection management information system, and a provider of research-grade data. It provides fundamental research infrastructure and is intended for curators, collection managers, investigators, educators, and anyone interested in natural and cultural history.
